Product Description

The Nazariya Evil Eye Bracelet takes a symbol most of us grew up with and gives it a wrist worth showing. A chunky 4mm gold cuban chain, and set right into it, a 15mm evil eye in pearl white with a clear blue centre, protective but never loud about it.

Most evil eye bracelets in this price range are thin, thread-based, or made from alloy that turns within a month. This one is built from 304 stainless steel with an 18K gold plating: proper weight on the wrist, proper shine, and a finish that holds.

The details

  • Length: 6 inch chain + 2 inch extension; adjusts to slim and fuller wrists
  • Chain: 4mm cuban/curb link with a secure lobster clasp
  • Evil eye motif: 15mm, pearl-white with blue and black centre
  • Material: 304 stainless steel, 18K gold plated
  • Waterproof — shower, rain, handwashing, all fine
  • Anti-tarnish — no fading, no dulling, no green marks
  • Skin friendly — safe against sensitive skin

Why the evil eye?

The nazar has been worn across India, Turkey and the Mediterranean for centuries as protection from ill intent. Some people wear it for exactly that. Others wear it because a blue-and-white eye against gold simply looks good. Both are good reasons.

How to style it

The cuban chain gives this one weight, so it holds its own worn alone with a watch on a workday. For weekends, stack it with a thinner chain or charm bracelet on the same wrist, the contrast between chunky and dainty is what makes a stack look intentional. Works with kurtas, sarees, denim and office wear equally.

A gift that means something

An evil eye is one of the few pieces of jewellery that carries a message with it — protection, care, keep-you-safe. That makes it an easy gift for a sister, daughter, best friend or partner, for Raksha Bandhan, birthdays, farewells, new jobs and new beginnings. The 2 inch extension means you don't need to know her wrist size.

Care

Wipe with a soft dry cloth after wear. Keep perfume and alcohol-based sprays off the piece — scent first, jewellery after. Store in its pouch when not worn.

How long is this bracelet and will it fit me? The chain is 6 inches with a 2 inch extension chain, so it adjusts across a wide range of wrist sizes. Fasten it at whichever link sits comfortably.

Will the gold colour fade or turn my skin green? No. The Nazariya Evil Eye Bracelet is 18K gold plated over 304 stainless steel and is anti-tarnish. Unlike brass or alloy bracelets, it doesn't oxidise or leave marks on skin.

Can I wear it in water? Yes, it's waterproof. Shower with it or wear it in the rain. No need to remove it for daily washing or workouts.

Is it safe for sensitive skin? Yes. Stainless steel is one of the most skin-friendly metals in fashion jewellery, and this piece is made for all-day wear.

Is this real gold? No — it's 18K gold plated stainless steel, not solid gold. That's why it looks like fine jewellery and lasts through daily wear at a fraction of the cost.

How big is the evil eye? The motif is 15mm across — visible and noticeable, but not oversized. It sits flat against the wrist rather than dangling.

Is it heavy? It has real weight to it thanks to the 4mm cuban chain, which is what makes it feel like proper jewellery. It's still comfortable for all-day wear and won't catch on sleeves.

Can men wear it too? Yes. The cuban chain and 15mm eye make this one of our more unisex bracelets.

Does the evil eye have a meaning? The evil eye, or nazar, is traditionally worn as protection against negative energy and ill will. It's worn across India, Turkey, Greece and the Middle East.

How do I clean it? A soft dry cloth is all it needs. Avoid perfume, deodorant sprays and chemical cleaners on the piece.

Jewellery Care

Our pieces are made to last - here's how to keep them at their best:

  • Wear it every day

Yes, really! Our jewellery is waterproof, anti-tarnish, and hypoallergenic.

  • Store it with love in a zip-lock or microfibre pouch.

Keep it in a dry, soft pouch or box when not wearing. Store each piece separately to prevent scratches and tangling.

  • Avoid harsh chemicals.

While our pieces are plated with thick 18K Gold Plating, it's still best to avoid exposure to strong chemicals, perfumes, lotions etc.

  • Wipe Gently

Gently wipe with a soft, dry cloth after use to maintain its shine.
